The grandmother of a missing 2-year-old central Florida girl says her daughter knows who has the toddler.

Speaking on NBC’s “Today” Show on Monday, Cindy Anthony says her daughter Casey _ who was arrested last week and charged with child neglect and criminal obstruction for lying to detectives _ should be released from jail so she can help investigators.

Casey Anthony reported her daughter Caylee Marie Anthony missing last week. The grandmother says Caylee was last seen June 9.

Casey Anthony’s lawyer told the “Today” Show that “there’s an explanation for all of this.”

Sheriff’s detectives say they have few new leads. Authorities are looking into the family’s claims that Casey Anthony received a mysterious call from her daughter last Tuesday.
