Going for DNA tests to prove innocence
It is literally a scramble to prove innocence in the Nehru Nagar locality of Kurla in Mumbai. Men, cutting across ages, are queuing up to go for DNA tests to prove their innocence in this year's most sensational case in Mumbai in which three minor girls were raped and murdered in Nehru Nagar locality.

The first two cases of rape and murder happened in February and March this year. In both the cases, the rapist had dumped the bodies in two buildings. In the first case, the body of the victim was found on the staircase of an eight-storey SRA building in Vatsala Tai Nagar. The other body was found on the terrace of the police quarters building opposite to the Nehru Nagar police station. The third incident happened in June this year.
Since then, it was DNA tests galore in the locality. A beleaguered Mumbai police have spent Rs 1 crore and conducted 776 DNA tests so far to nab the culprit behind this year's most sensational crime in Mumbai.
But, even after spending 1 crore and almost six months since the incident, the man behind all the savage incidents is still at large. The police is just clueless.
Ridiculous way of investigation, to say the least.
