Is the equality of sexes still a far fetched dream?
For last two years I am working for equality, mainly for gender equality. sometimes I feel that the concept of Gender is not understandable by the mass. people oriented by gender discrimination from the time of their birth. when a male child is crying people usually say "boys are not crying". when a female child is playing with male child people usually say "girls should not play cricket or football, their games should be with dolls". I really wondered how to work with this mentality.
This discrimination leads us towards domestic violence where male believe that doing household work is not their responsibility and female also believe that all the hard works in the house is only their jobs. It is just the beginning.
Working for rights is our profession but how to change the mentality?
