GANDHISIM vs GANDHIGIRI....

I think this article is a bit late but again it is well in time to tell whats wrong...When we say Gandhiji,we are not just talking about the man without whom every indian currency note is illegal,we are talking about the Father of the nation,the man who brought India independence after fighting a battle of non-violence.During his time he followed a certain path and formed a certain principles...These principles came to be known as Gandhian Principles.But after Independence we forgot about Gandhiji and we forgot about his principles.Maybe we were too busy thinking about growth or maybe we had our own set of principles....whatever be the cause...but few years back Rajkumar Hirani thought about Gandhiji and directed Lage Raho MunnaBhai,in which a Bhai,not brother wala bhai but gunda(crook) bhai.....teaches people Gandhigiri....Now what is Gandhigiri...Definitely not a modified version of Gandhisim but a slang...I think that is one language we understand,the language of bhaigiri.Ok in a way people atleaast remembered Gandhiji,but it not only about that,its about the name....why is it that we have failed to understand his principles and his teachings when it had a simple name as Gandhisim,but we accepted it and used it when the term Gandhigiri was given to it...The film being shown all around the world and being appreciated certainly adds a feather to Rajkumar Hirani's cap but let me tell you that this feather has come off the cap of the Rashtrapita...Maybe its time we remove the word Gandhisim from the Indian dictionary and put Gandhigiri instead,afterall its the language of slang it is that we understand and follow....
