British students are now getting online lectures from teachers in India on various subjects. They are ready to pay almost ten pounds an hour for this online tuition.
TutorVista, an Internet Telephony company employs teachers for one-to-one tuition for above that 3,000 pupils from Britain.
The British university students are buying essays and course assignments from online sites, most of them are based in India.
However, most of the online sites do outsource the materials required to experts and pays the money of the fee paid to the site by the students.
Krishnan Ganesh, the founder of the company, said,
this one-to-one online tuition would not replace the classroom or classroom teachers because going to school has some kind of social aspect too. We are providing personal tuition for those pupils who face problems in classroom study.
Student books classes in advance where they can share their problems and other work with their tutors. They can chat by using voice-over-internet systems. The simulated whiteboard or load up prepared work and animations are also there for the smooth process of this online tuition.
Almost 6,000 US students are the subscribers of this company. The company has 60-trained tutors for the US and 20 for Britain.
