A flight carrying former presidential candidate Ron Paul and six other members of Congress has made an emergency landing in New Orleans after a loss in cabin pressure.
No injuries were reported among the Continental Airlines flight’s approximately 120 crew and passengers Tuesday. A spokeswoman for the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport says the plane landed without incident around 3:35 p.m.
Airline spokeswoman Julie King says the airline was working to get customers from Flight 458 from Houston to Washington, D.C. on other flights.
A spokesman for Rep. Nick Lampson says the members of Congress on board were Lampson, Paul, Ted Poe, John Carter, Solomon P. Ortiz, Ciro Rodriguez, and Henry Cuellar. All are from Texas.
