That’s what Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne says about the New York Police Department’s recent settlement of a trademark dispute with a Florida-based pizzeria chain.
N.Y.P.D. Pizza _ for New York Pizzeria Delicatessen _ must redesign its logo so it doesn’t resemble a uniform patch. And it can’t open any restaurants in the New York area.
Owner Paul Russo says the legal struggle was tiring. But the Queens native says he’s pleased a settlement was reached.
