Five Florida Teens Charged With Murdering Boy Because He Was Hated By One Teen
Trying to make sense out of senseless acts of violence is an exercise in futility, and yet I find myself doing it all the time. Our heads are filled with violent happenings on a daily basis, and it makes one wonder what is causing so much brutality around the world in both adults and young kids . Most of the time it is nothing more than hatred of another, and those without conscience find the only way to get rid of the objects of their hatred is by killing them. There is no hesitation, no feelings of compunction, murdering another becomes as ordinary as brushing one's teeth. We have become so inured to violence that nothing seems to shock us much, anymore. And that's not a good thing.

Whether it's the music or the violent video games that have adversely influenced the youth of today, one thing is certain many seem to lack any moral compass. Kids can be mean. When I grew up there was bullying, but for the most part if someone didn't like you, you were just ignored. Now you can get killed, if someone harbors a grudge.
18-year-old Michael Bargo hated 15-year-old Seath Tyler Jackson. Who knows why, since Bargo was dating 15-year-old Amber Wright, Jackson's ex-girlfriend. Sources say there was an altercation between the two boys several weeks ago, but according to a 16-year-old unnamed witness, last Sunday a group of teens were hanging out together "when Michael Bargo began to speak of his hatred for the victim Seath Jackson. The conversation then turned into a plan to lure Seath to the residence so that Michael Bargo could kill him with the assistance of other persons."
The devious plot started with the ex-girlfriend, Amber, sending Jackson a text message saying she wanted to get back together with him, and told him to meet her at a house located 60 miles northwest of Orlando, Florida. As soon as he arrived at the house, he was attacked, brutally beaten, then shot with a .22-caliber pistol by Bargo. As the boy tried to escape, he was dragged back to the house, restrained by 20-year-old Justin Soto while Bargo continued to gun him down. They then put his body in a sleeping bag and set it on fire. The last indignity was shoveling his remains into empty paint cans and tossing them into a lime rock pit.
If it wasn't for the 16-year-old witness who told his mother about the murder, they might not have been caught. Bargo, Soto and Wright have all been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, along with two others- 18-year-old Charlie Kay Ely and 16-year-old Kyle Hooper. A 37-year-old man, James Havens III (stepfather of two of the teens) has also been charged with being an accessory after the fact, because he allegedly was cognizant of the plot to kill Jackson and helped get rid of the body. According to police, Havens also gave Bargo a lift to Starke in an effort to avoid being apprehended by the authorities.
One would think that the adult, Havens, would have had the moral rectitude to convince the teens not to go through with their plan and/or at least call the police, but he was as evil as they, and a young boy is dead because another just so happened to hate him.
