A spokesman for the FBI says federal agents in Ohio have served at least 10 search warrants at the homes and offices of Cuyahoga County officials as part of a public corruption investigation.
Spokesman Scott Wilson says FBI and IRS agents went to the county administration building in Cleveland as the searches began Monday morning and agents also searched the county engineer’s office
He says the agents also searched businesses and homes, including the home of County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora.
Cleveland FBI head Frank Figliuzzi says he can’t give details because the affidavits supporting the search warrants are sealed.
