Expensive Freedom
Watching the news these days has been one disturbing “task”. One man’s peaceful protest is turning into a government’s chance to abuse, torture and kill. I have to admit that I have been trying to not watch certain news reports due to the disturbing images included, something I never thought I would do (as my curiosity to see the truth was usually stronger than me fear of watching something I did not like).
Hearing someone the other day talk about how sad the current situation is, I thought to myself: maybe we should stop thinking about the small pieces of the puzzle; regardless how pricelessly important they are, at the end of the day, they are smaller parts of a bigger picture, a bigger aim: Freedom…

Freedom will only come after a fight, and just like every fight, there are gains and losses. Some people will die for others to live on…
I believe that there is a divine plan for each one of us, and for those who will die, their death fulfills their plans, and other plans go on for other people, some get to lead the next steps, and some to die later on. This is hard to digest, and even harder to accept, but we need to keep in mind that freedom is not cheap, and to gain freedom, people have to show that they deserve it and are willing to pay for it, no matter how coasty it may be.

My deepest respects go out to all of those who lost their lives in the protests of the Arab world… Rest in Peace…
