'Eklavya' screened at New York University
On the 4th of October, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's multi-starrer movie EKLAVYA- THE ROYAL GUARD was screened at New York University as a part of the University's Director's Series. Other directors featured in the series include Ang Lee, Spike Lee, David Lynch, Martin Scorcese and Sean Penn.

In addition, the screening was followed by an hour-long question and answer sitting, moderated by Richard Allen, the Chair of Cinema Studies at the Tisch School of Arts at N.Y.U.
On 6th October, 'Eklavya' was screened at the Peabody Essex Museum(P.E.M) in Salem, Massachusetts. The Peabody Museum is among the oldest museums in United States and is known for a famous collection of modern Indian art.
Chopra asserted:
It is wonderful to see my work in these spaces. I am honoured. I was especially excited to be at New York University from where such great directors have emerged
The flick stars Amitabh Bachchan , Sanjay Dutt , Saif Ali Khan and Vidya Balan . Bachchan plays 'Eklavya', the royal guard, who holds the dark secrets of the royal family close to his heart.
The writer of 'Eklavya'and 'Lage Raho Munnabhai', Abhijat Joshi was also present at the screenings.
