Egyptian Freedom Rally, 2011 (5)

America is now asking Egyptian government to treat its people fairly and peacefully, violence free, during these demonstrations. They stated that they want freedom of opinion to be applied in Egypt, and most importantly; they want free elections to happen. Oh, Obama also guaranteed to the people a smooth transfer of power to the president of their choice. Yes, let the people decide their destiny…

This is the same government that has been supporting Mubarak all along; No one can deny that Mubarak has been practically one of America’s favorite pets. But I guess America is being practical in this situation; how ugly would they look if they supported Mubarak during this time, when his own people do not want him!! So if it means that they need to change sides a little bit to look better, then so be it…

Did not the American government realize how bad Egyptian government treated its people before this? How they suppressed free opinions? How the same person (supposedly a president) ruled the country for THIRTY YEARS? Have they realized that just now and decided to say something about it?

Hmmm…I guess not… But one logical explanation for this is that maybe, just maybe, the free gas sent from Egypt to Israel throughout the years have leaked at some point, got to the brains of people in the American government, and possibly caused some kind of selective blindness… yeh, that is one theory…
