Chandra Gupta Maurya of golden Maurya era.Don't call us Dalits or Mahadalits.Dalit and Mahadalit both words are abusive words."said Dr Ashok Kumar on the occasion of the Vishwa Vibhuti Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Janmotsva Aur Baudha Milan Samaroh recently at Panchshil Park near MIG, Kankerbagh,Patna.The environment was filled with stenching odor of pig’s excreta and dyeing polluted pond.
“Today mothers are giving birth of children with caste.Its a matter of shame that any Hindu corpse can not be cremated at the crematorium without telling its caste for the death registration. The evils of casteism is deep rooted in the free India.Our most political leaders are fueling the caste war fire in our society.
This is totally against the dream of Dr B.R.Ambedkar.We should unite against the Manuvadi caste system for the sustainable development of the society.”said Ram Lakhan Ram.
“Ex Governor of Bihar Buta Singh was also against the abusive words like Dalits and Mahadalits.He has also advocated to cancel the most controversial commission–Bihar Rajya Mahadalit Ayog.”Dr Kumar added.
“Is it not shameful that people of backward,SC and ST castes are humiliated by calling and dividing them as Dalits and Mahadalits in the Nitish government? Such types of discrimination should be checked immediately.We must now break the chains of casteism and the Manuvadi system.”said ex MLC of Bihar Nand Kishore Babu.
Dozen of noted dalit political leaders,activists,senior Baudha monks,members of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Sewa Evam Shodh Sansthan Buddha Bihar Kendra, Patna and Samta Sainik Dal, Patna made this function successful.Musical social awareness program, namkaran sanskar and Bauddha Diksha were some of the prominent programs.
