In Bollywood mostly actor turns director or producers. But, it's very rare that director opts for acting.
But, Bollywood's versatile director Farhan Akhtar has proved this. Now, he is all set to make his debut as an actor in Anand Surapur's, The Fakir of Venice with Annu Kapoor in the title role.
And it seems that Akhtar is really serious about his new job as an actor because Abhishek Kapoor has also picked him to play a lead role in his next flick.
Abhishek too confirmed this and asserted,
All I can reveal right now is that Farhan is slated to play the lead role in my film.
Farhan Akhtar said excitedly,
Yes, I am playing the male lead in Abhishek's film. It is going to be a very young film, similar to my Dil Chahta Hai. A formal announcement about the film will be made in due course of time.
Now we have to wait and see how this director-turned-actor will do justice with his new job profile.
