Delhi/NCR : Learning good behavior and manners
The recent initiatives of the Delhi Govt. are worth appreciating to tell Delhi and NCR residents to behave for the sake of the nation during after CWG-2010. These are basics but when people not practice these then some one has to remind to behave.
I really have gone little deeper into the problems that why after all people behave in the fashion which is not conducive. I found some good reasons to ponder up on. Firstly, it is the culture and the roots to which we belong to. These basic traits take longer time to change. Secondly, there has been no curriculum in schools to teach the good mannerism. Thirdly, there is very little infrastructure like public toilets etc.
Of late it is good that some initiative has been seen for initiating good mannerism in school teaching. But here we have to take little cautious look. It has really to be in tires which should suit urban and rural society as well. It will longer time but the idea is worth pursuing.

There are grey areas which would prompt quick action. Like our taxi drivers or people engaged in public transport, police, porters at the bus stops and railway stations. If they remain honest and polite they will have loins share in proper projection of Delhi/NCR.
Lot of efforts are required but these are worth.
I wish all success to the Govt. in this initiative.
