CWG 2010 and law n order in NCR
CWG 2010 is now round the corner and of late things have started happening in Ghaziabad and Noida too, so let us all hope improvements are round the corner. I have a few suggestions:-

All entry points from Delhi to UP should be managed a little better to avoid one feeling that he/she is entering in jungle.
All country and foreign liquor shops to be told to sell liquor and not encourage consumption at the shop itself. For this purpose the State Excise Law need to be amended as it has been done recently by the Delhi State Govt.If it is not possible then the State should ensure that proper arrangements for nice eateries come up and license fee can be charged which will enhance State earnings as well.
Better regulations of traffic and proper checking of automobiles for road worthiness and authorization to drive the same to be subjected to checks.
Police should be approachable and be more friendly. Today, unfortunately, it carries an image that no sane person would ever like to visit a police station leave aside contacting a police man for any help.
Better physical fitness of all police men. People in force with sluggish and tardy looks are a burden and need to be disciplined.
Regular meeting between the residents, in particular Senior Citizens and the SHOs and SIs.
Formal briefing to media about the positive achievements by the PRO of the SSP’s Office. Often, it has been noticed that SHOs and SIs prefer to keep a few journalists in their pocket and use them.
Formation of advisory Councils in each police post with representatives of public and the force.
Keeping an eye on known criminals of the area.
Information centers with Online Communication facilities to be established.
General improvements in personal style and approach are needed.
