Creative Campaign!

POLITICS. .

(In a lighter vein)

The Congress party has a sleeping giant in its party symbol. The party’s election symbol “The Hand” is by far the most powerful party symbol in the world. But, the party does not seem to have put it to creative use. Think of what it can do to the election results if it is used for a creative campaign!

The Hand is not something that makes an appearance once in five years before the elections. It is there all the time. Everyone has it. So, it is very easy for everyone to identify oneself with The Hand!

With the hand as the symbol, does the Congress party need any election plank?

The Congress party needs no contentious issues. No election promises. No political fight. All it needs to win the elections, is its party symbol—the Hand! Provided it understands the politics of the Hand.

A Congress candidate may say anything he wants to say during his campaign. At the end of the speech, all that he needs to say is: “I have said what I wanted to say. But, now, listen to me very carefully. This is the most important part of my speech. Please remember this even if you forget the rest of my speech.

It is not just me or my party leaders who are campaigning for me. All the candidates and campaigners of all the opposition parties are also campaigning for me.”

In fact, all the parties are campaigning for the Congress party. And, the candidates of all the parties are campaigning for the Congress candidates irrespective of their party affiliations. Even the independent candidates are campaigning for the Congress and its candidates. Why else would they wave our party symbol when they come to the podium and after concluding their speech?

Forget everything we say. Forget everything our opposition candidates and their campaigners say!” Just remember the message all of us are trying to convey. Just focus on the hidden message…

What do we do when we come to the podium or bid goodbye to you after the speech? What do the opposition candidates and their campaigners do when they come to the podium or bid goodbye to you after concluding their speeches?”

“We wave our hands. The opposition candidates and their campaigners wave their hands! That is our party symbol—the Hand! Forget what we say. Forget what our opponents say. Just remember the message everyone is trying to convey. Think of the hand that everyone waves.

The Hand! That is our party symbol. Forget what they say. Forget everything. Just focus on the hand that everyone waves. Remember what it is. It is our party symbol—The Hand. Just remember the hand. Remember our party symbol. Press the button opposite our party symbol—The Hand. Vote for us!”
