A South Korean court has once again suspended Hyundai Motor Chairman Chung Mong-koo’s prison term.

Chung was convicted of embezzlement and breach of trust last year.

The Seoul High Court issued the new sentence Tuesday after the Supreme Court ruled an earlier one be reconsidered.

Last year, the court suspended the three-year prison term handed down by a lower court for five years and ordered Chung to do community service.

Prosecutors appealed to the Supreme Court, which sent it back to the high court for reconsideration.

Hyundai and affiliate Kia Motors Corp. together form the world’s sixth-largest automative group.
