Court case against Bhansali

A city court has asked the police to file a case against director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali following a complaint by an antique furniture dealer, whose furniture stock was damaged during the shoot of "Black", in October 2005.

The directive came following a complaint filed by the antique furniture dealer.

The fire on the sets at Mumbai Film City had gutted Rs.25 million worth of antique furniture rented out by Hoosenally, who has still not been fully compensated.

Hoosenally alleges that Bhansali had under-insured the movie sets in order to reduce his premium outgoings.
