A Texas couple in their 30s tried to flush down the toilet their 7-month-old aborted fetus and when that didn't work, they put the tiny corpse into a box and placed it under the Christmas tree. used pills to induce an abortion Thursday, then called an ambulance after she began bleeding and told doctors she didn't know where the fetus was.

I know that during these devastating economic times people are pushed to do some horrific things, and perhaps they could not afford to have another child, (she lived in a trailer home) but she waited 7 months! And even if she didn't know she was pregnant until 7 months (and that can happen) only 2 more months and she could have put the baby up for adoption. There are safe-haven laws in all 50 states that allow you to drop off babies at hospitals or fire stations with no questions asked, if unharmed. And it's not as if they were in their teens, they should have known better. However, if they were unaware of the law, we need to educate people about that option, we could save so many babies that have been aborted or killed upon birth by their mothers.
