It is good that at last parliament is witnessing hot debate over corruption in high places for public at large was simply watching developments as a mute spectator. If a few politicians, who are found to be involved in corruption, resign from their posts is not enough but criminal proceedings should be taken up on priority and efforts made to see that the losses sustained are made good enough by forfeiting the assets amassed during their tenure. After all it is public money and can not be spent the way one feels like.
I sincerely hope that the Hon’ble Prime Minister would do some thing so that this nation gets freedom from such rascals. If Dr. Man Mohan Singh can not do it then no body can do it. We have high hopes in him as he has the least stakes today in polity. Cleansing the system from evils has become necessity.
Simultaneously, there is urgent need to take up reforms by which use of black money in the economy is gradually reduced. Come on Sir, you have the backing of 1.2 billion people to get rid of this menace from India. Political compulsions should not deter you from the path that you wish to show to the people.
There are hawks in all political parties whether it is BJP, Congress, BSP, SP, Communists. It is the duty of all these parties as well to ensure that some accountability is brought in and the bad name that the nation is getting internationally can be put to some stop. One thing can surely be said that political power makes people corrupt. Hence, morality and purity is the one that every political party needs to imbibe and follow.
There are some moves made by Swami Ram Deo ji and other prominent figures of the society and I wish them all success in their mission. I think slowly common people will get involved and some sort of mass moment will compel our politicians to adopt simpler way of life free of corruption. I am pretty sure if our polity is free from this evil then all will fall in line. This nation shall achieve much greater heights in times to come.
Let our freedom be boon for development of so many who are living below the poverty line and are under privileged. Let our democracy and the corruption free society is the biggest gift to our people. Our future generations should be able lead their lives with their heads high.
