In a June 24 story about an upcoming trial involving an alleged sex club with children, The Associated Press erroneously reported a television station’s response to an allegation that its reporter and the prosecutor had a personal relationship.

The Tyler station’s news director did not comment on that allegation. He characterized as slanderous a separate claim about the reporter and prosecutor made by the same attorney.
