Jaidev is 75 year old and he is supposedly involved in a theft at a motor parts shop which took place on 27th March. One cell phone and other goods worth 1.5 lakhs were reported stolen.He was allegedly a member of this group having 12 members all belonging to the notorious Bavaria community known for criminal activities.The theft took place in Dausa district of Rajasthan.
With the help of IMEI number the police caught hold of Jaidev.he along with an accomplice were detained at the police station for interrogation.
In presence of the SHO Kavia his colleagues beat up Jaidev mercilessly in order to get his confession and not satisfied with the answers they hung him on a tree by tying his hands and continued beating him..
Unfortunately for the SHO the media came to know about the torture and clicked pictures of Jaidev hanging by his hands.The unrepentant SHO said that police had to deal with some hardened criminals accordingly to solve cases.
The higher authorities suspended Kavia, Asstt. Sub Inspector and a constable were also suspended. Jaidev was given medical treatment and sent to remand.
This is the barbaric face of Police which is terrifying to the extent that common man refuses to take their help even in genuine cases.
All this torture for being involved in 1.5 lakhs theft whereas some high profile criminals are roaming scott free and no one can touch them.
