A Twitter user uses social media to relate one family's anguish during the kidnapping of their son.

Due to the fact this case has not been publicized in the media, nor have there been any statements made by authorities, for journalistic purposes, the following chronicle must be narrated as an "alleged" kidnapping.
However, the mentioning of the collusion and corruption of authorities in this kidnapping, sadly, is a known reality which exists in Mexico today.
Below you will find the Chronicle of a Kidnapping which was shared with users of Twitter by pcamarasoy from August 13 - August 19, 2010. He began the online journal, two days after the kidnapping, at the request of the family.

The family cannot afford to leave Mexico, but they will have to leave Monterrey.
------------------------------------------------------------------

As an update to San Pedro kidnappings, Monday, August 23, 2010, in a joint operation, the Mexican Navy and the State Investigative Agency (AEI) rescued six people, including one woman, from a safe house located in Valle de Vasconcelos, San Pedro, N.L and detained three men.
The victims were between the ages of 25 and 38 and had each been kidnapped 8-10 days prior.

Authorities report the rescue was the result of an anonymous tip and coordinated intelligence operations; no shots were fired.
In the interior of the scarcely furnished house, authorities seized 14 weapons, ammunition of various calibers, and handcuffs.
In a second floor bedroom, all six victims were found.
San Pedro is not exempt from kidnappings
The municipality of San Pedro Garza Garcia, N.L. is in no way exempt from the presence of organized crime and kidnapping, said the San Pedro Director of Public Security, Camilo Cantu Aguilar.

Although the government official declined to elaborate when asked if his statement meant San Pedro is lacking in security, he did say the San Pedro security project is a 3 year plan, it is incomplete.
"There is not a municipality or city in Mexico which is free and clear of organized crime. The securing of San Pedro is incomplete. We are still lacking over 1000 cameras, we are in need of a great deal of equipment.
Remember, we have no idea what happens inside private residences. We know and are securing the streets, but inside each home, truthfully, we just don't know."
