Child Abuse: Toddlers Taught To Smoke Tobacco And Cannabis By Stupid Parents
There's something terribly obscene about watching a toddler, as young as two years old, smoking cigarettes. It's even more obscene when they are shown smoking marijuana. The sick part is that a child doesn't just pick up a cigarette or a joint and light it up himself. He/she has to be taught how to do it, and more often than not it's a parent who finds it hilarious that their child is smoking (see videos below). I suppose it's ignorance of the dangers of tobacco and cannabis, but this is child abuse. The odds of getting cancer or emphysema from tobacco when a child starts smoking at the tender age of two is huge. And yet these stupid parents find delight in observing their babies puffing away.

Stories regarding cigarette-smoking children from China and one from Indonesia have surfaced recently. The most recent described how 2-year-old Ardi Rizal, from Indonesia, would have tantrums if he wasn't allowed to smoke his four packs of cigarettes a day. A video showing the boy smoking went viral on the internet and created a worldwide furor. He has thankfully kicked the nasty habit, at least for now, but only after receiving help from a child psychologist. In Ardi's case, his stupid father gave him his first cigarette when the toddler was only 18 months old.
Then there's Tong LiangLiang (see video below) from China, who at 2-years-old (in 2009) was smoking a pack a day and bucking for the title of the world's youngest smoker, at the time. In this case, LianLiang was also introduced to the habit at 18-months-old when his father gave him his first smoke. Apparently, LianLiang had a hernia and his Dad thought it would help ease the pain. He too would throw a fit if denied his smokes.
Then there's 3-year-old Ya Wen, also from China, who not only smokes, but drinks about 3 beers a day. In her case, she apparently started smoking and drinking after a terrible accident, as therapy. Some therapy. Her parents claim she started on her own, but it seems doubtful.
Then we move to the U.S. where we have a 2-year-old unnamed child who was taught how to smoke by her 21-year-old mother, Jessica Gamble, who actually videotaped her child smoking pot with her cell phone camera. Like most of the others, she finds it amusing. In this case Gamble was indicted on charges for giving her child an illegal substance. She could spend up to 11 plus years in jail. In the video (see below) you see the little girl watching television while smoking what looks to be a joint, as if she had done it a thousand times before.
Gamble was denied bail.
It's hard to understand what would possess a parent to give a child harmful substances, but there's no accounting for ignorance.
