Carlos Slim buys himself a Mexican Gold Mine

When I look around and see our citizens fighting to stay alive amongst poverty, drug wars, and natural disasters I can't help but think there's something almost perverse in the fact that the world's richest man is Mexican.

Goldgroup Mining Inc. recently sold their gold mine 'El Porvenir', located in the state of Aguascalientes, for a cool $25 million dollars to the Frisco Group, a subsidiary of Grupo Carso, owned by the one and only Mexican multi-billionaire, Carlos Slim.
Through a statement , the Canadian company said that proceeds from the sale will be used to support their projects in the Caballo Blanco mine in Veracruz and the San José de Gracia mine in Sinaloa.
