Rahul Raj, a North Indian youth took a desperate step to give warning message to Raj Thackerey, the MNS chief. He hijacked a Best double decker bus, regn.no 332, and at about 9.30 am going from Andheri to Kurla.
He entered the bus at Bail Bazaar and started firing. In this firing the bus conductor and a passenger were hurt.The conductor is serious.as per TV news.
The police were called and having no other alternative to overcome Rahul ,they shot him dead. The purpose of this first of its kind hi -jacking was to give a strong message to Raj Thackerey to stop his atrocities against the North Indians.
As usual as in all such cases politicians have jumped into fray. Nitish Kumar, The Bihar CM is quick to put the blame on Mumbai Police, saying that there could have been other ways of overpowering a lone gunman, there was no need to shoot him. There is going to be a demand for inquiry of the whole issue. But what is chilling is the way common man desperate action against the powerful politicians.
The writing is on the wall. The limit of tolerance of common public has been breached.They do not see any future if these circumstances prevail. So Desperate times call for Desperate Measures. It should be a wakening call for all concerned
