British Conservative Tories to ban Islamic extremist satellite preachers

POLITICS. .

Looks like the Brits under the Tories would have a lot more balls when it comes to dealing with Islamic extremism in England, starting with the preachers who indoctrinate their followers through hate speech. Speaking in Washington D.C. at The Heritage Foundation Chris Grayling, the Shadow Home Secretary, claimed they were ready to get "unashamedly tough on those who seek to propagate a hate-filled alternative.” I say it's about time!

Speaking candidly about how the British government has missed the boat regarding extremism, he said

"Our Government has missed the risks and threats on far too many occasions over the past decade. And we have sometimes been far too slow to respond to public demonstrations of extremism, in the name of political correctness. A culture of radical and extremist teaching built up in the UK which should never have been allowed to happen, and which has been dealt with too slowly and too ineffectively."

That would change with the Tories. They intend to deal more swiftly with radical Islamists, not only through the criminal justice system but in dealing with the public protests, for example the demonstrations against troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. I assume that would include the "death to infidels" and "shariah for U.K." marches, that happen sporadically in London. Grayling believes that England has been

"far too willing to tolerate extreme public protests" which amount to incitement against British troops, the Christian and Jewish faiths and innocent law-abiding Muslims.

Even though some radical preachers like Omar Bakri Mohammed have been banned from England, with modern technology they are still able to rally their extremist troops via satellite links from wherever they happen to live. In Bakri's case, Lebanon. Grayling said these satellite rallies would be banned.

"If we are in Government, we will take further steps to outlaw such activity and to prosecute those who organise the propagation of banned ideologies via video and satellite links in public places."

Grayling also stated that the government should also deal with groups "...that mask an ideology of hate behind a public veil of moderation". This was in reference to 2 schools that were linked to Hizb ut-Tahrir, a supposedly moderate Muslim organization in the U.K., but whose sister organizations outside the U.K. openly claim

that America plans to subjugate Muslims and calls for the mobilisation of armed forces to eliminate Israel.

Although I think that occurs more than we would like to acknowledge. And the west's fundamental inability to understand the meaning of al Taqiya makes us even more vulnerable.

I hope it's not too late for Britain, but if there is any hope at all England needs to the Torie's agenda
