Aishwarya Rai's, 'Bride and Prejudice' has flopped in Pakistan recently after its release there. Reason being, Pakistan people sympathise with Salman Khan in his dispute with the former Miss World-turned-Bollywood star.

Bollywood fans in Pakistan believe that Salman Khan, a Muslim, was being troubled by 'the Hindu lobby' after he fell in love with Rai and was later 'discarded' by her.
However, Chaudhry Khaliq, the film distributor, said that the film did not get a good response because people had already watched pirated versions of the film.
