Bollywood's Big B in tight spot!
In a progression of print and television ads released during elections this year, in which Amitabh Bachan asserted that the northern state of Uttar Pradesh ruled by a party with which the star has close ties has low crime rate can put Big B in trouble.

The state's chief information commissioner M.A Khan asserted that on the basis of Right to Information Act the residents of the state now wants to know the basis of Bachchan's claim and how much and by whom he was paid for the series.
Khan said,
He has been asked to provide this information directly to the complainant and send a copy of the reply to us.
The prior government for which Bachchan campaigned had come under tight spot for its crime record after the bones of at least 19 women and children were found in the New Delhi suburb of Noida, a part of Uttar Pradesh.
It is also noteworthy that Uttar Pradesh is reputed to be one of the country's most crime-ridden states.
