Bollywood set for remake of classic Casablanca
Indian director Rajeev Nath is to remake the Oscar-winning classic, WW II film, Casablanca. Nath's project is named as Ezham Mudra and will be made in Malyalam.

Nath is so inspired by the original version that he has watched this great classic 20 times. He has planned the premiere of remake in Casablanca, Morocco as a tribute to the original film of 1942.
Ezham Mudra's main star cast is actor Suresh Gopi and commentator Mandira Bedi. Mandira will be exposing a bit as she will have to appear topless in few scenes of the film though she has been assured that she will be made to look decent in these scenes. It seems she will rock the new version by going topless.
The Bogart character of original flick has been changed to an Indian diplomat-turned restaurateur who helps his lover and her husband, both Tamil separatist rebels fighting the Sri Lankan government, escape from India.
The original Casablanca, a romantic film and was set in the Vichy with actor Humphrey Bogart as Rick Blaine and Ingrid Bergman as Ilsa Lund.
