Bipasha Basu, who was recently tagged as 'hot' by none other than US actor Richard Gere, may just be India's next export to Hollywood. Although, Basu and Shilpa may have not a long list of hits against their names in Bollywood, as Aishwarya Rai has, but they definitely have Indian charismatic looks, making them hot packages for Hollywood.
Bipasha Basu, the former winner of the Ford Supermodel of the World competition, has been continually listed as one of Asia's sexiest women, along with fellow stars Mallika Sherawat and Aishwarya Rai. Basu, recently shot into fame after anchoring the New Seven Wonders of The World event in Lisbon and then by following it up with the infamous liplock with Christian Ronaldo. This for sure must have made a huge impact on the Hollywood directors to rope in this Bong beauty for their upcoming projects.
According to sources, she has been talking to Simone Sheffield (who manages Ash's Hollywood projects), and is believed to have some Hollywood projects for Basu in hand. Bips was introduced to Simone by Ben Kingsley, when they met at the Seven Wonders gala in Lisbon. Bips topped the popularity charts there for her dusky beauty and uncanny resemblance to Sophia Loren.
According to Simone, Bipasha is keen to work with Johnny Depp, Sean Penn and Mathew McConaughey. Bipasha already has a script and the details may be made public shortly. It seems that Basu's infamous kiss has opened the gateways of Hollywood for her. Is John listening? Or more appropriate, are other bollywood beauties listening?
