Become emotionally intelligent
Today the need of the hour is not only an individual high on I.Q. but emotional intelligence. This new concept emphasizes on the skill of being able to not only tackle emotions but also make positive use of them. Emotional intelligence enables one to be at the control channel, completely in control of the situation. It advocates a co-operative and helpful attitude on the part of each and every worker of the unit. A person high on E.Q. would assist the other so that there is an atmosphere of motivation and mutual help.

Everybody wants to be successful, and definitely does not want to share it with anybody. A little change in attitude can make a change and surely for the better. Sharing with others would get them closer to you and the next time you need them they would be there for you. 'Each man for himself' could be a very fancy slogan but not very relevant. Let us change it to 'Each man for his friend'. This way a little change could be brought about and the world which is seething with incidents of intolerance would get some respite.
The process needs to be initiated on the micro level and then it would automatically reach the macro level. But the change has to start from within. It is not an easy way but some amount of self-motivation could help in bringing about radical changes rather improvements.
