Be it Godhra or IPL, none of the Modis can ever be brought to bay
Finally the verdict has been bold enough. The death penalty for eleven convicts and life sentence to twenty in the Godhra train burning case are exposed the truth.
This heinous act, as stated, could be an exemplary offering death sentence to all 31 convicts. Measurably, it was not just burning 59 people to get burnt, but instigated a widespread communal riot in Gujara wherein casualties were 1200 people, mostly Muslims
Regrettably, the appeal against the verdict in the high court has been thought of. “Till the high court confirms the judgment, it cannot be implemented," says the Defense counsel I M Munshi.
As a matter of fact, such a collective effort should be rewarded and we expect from High Court it would step up to the Supreme Court just to ensure the best result confirm the release of all the convicts. After all, every citizen of India today is a franchisee of any action undertaking violating law and order. Again, since ‘time is the best healer’ there will be no problem to set free the criminals in the spirit of universal brotherhood.
Well, Lalit Modi, don’t feel embarrassed; along with Kalmadi, Tel-com Raja and other Maharajas in and around India may cherish at heart each a clean chit from the Supreme Court.
