Baby Beater Policeman Ostracised By Family

POLITICS. .

Every day we read more and more about the people of Zimbabwe demanding some justice for the violence that they have experienced at the hands of Mugabe's people. The violence has never really stopped and has been in evidence for the best part of 30 years.

If we were to look back over the violence that has Mugabe’s name attached to it, we can even go further back - to the Rhodesian bush war.

Mugabe will tell you that the war was against the minority white government. So why was there a need to target the black population of the then Rhodesia?

I remember the massacre of tea estate workers… how could that be excused as an act of war against the Ian Smith government?

And the vast predominance of people killed in the bush war were innocents who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

And now, as we slip further into the quagmire of Mugabe’s politics, we see more and more people, who should know better, indulging themselves at the expense of others. And only those who ZANU PF picks out are to be prosecuted or disciplined for their deeds. To the larger extent, the perpetrators are rewarded for their violent streaks.

And it becomes more and more difficult to prosecute these individuals - especially when they are senior members of the police force. Pro-Mugabe apologist Augustine Chihuri, the police chief, will ensure that no amount of lobbying will result in a prosecution.

"Police chief abductor and the force’s Officer Commanding for the Law and Order section Chief Superintendent Chrispen Makedenge who in 2008 tortured a two year-old baby so to extract confession from the mother, is reportedly being shunned by his relatives for his murderous behaviour it has emerged.

A close relative of the notorious top cop who resides in Harare said Makedenge was no longer associating with his family members because of his brutal record. The relative said he had since stopped visiting his Chigodora rural area in Mutare."

It is a bit of an oxymoron that the man ostensibly in charge of "Law and Order" should also be the man who tortured a two-year-old.

What is wrong with these people? Since when do you torment and hurt a toddler to get 'information' out of the toddler's mother?

That's just sick!

"We have since parted ways with him and no one ever wants to associate with him. We have since told him we cannot continue to regard him as a member of our family because of his blood dripping hands."

It is also interesting that this man is also accused of causing his wife's suicide last year.

Family is very important in Zimbabwe, so for this man to be ostracised by his kith and kin is a serious problem for him. But then again, he has the support of the ZANU PF network to keep him mean and nasty.

He will be revered in other circles and his reputation will precede him.

When it comes to Mugabe's thugs, you don't have to dig very deep below the surface before you discover what sort of people they are.

Violent, dishonest, greedy brigands.
