Arrest French President Nicolas Sarkozy Now
A Secret Memo from John McCain to Sarah Palin
Dear Sarah,
You are doing a good job distracting them. Today, I want you to walk up to the podium and call for the immediate arrest of President Nicolas Sarkozy of France. Here are the reasons.

We, the American conservatives, have always distrusted the French. Now President Nicolas Sarkozy has given us reasons to believe our doggone guts.
Just a little challenge, he is doing what the French are known for – surrendering- throwing up the white flag. He is giving up on capitalism. He is running back to socialism. What is the matter these old European countries. When would they get some balls?
Sarkozy wants to reinvent capitalism – tell it to my behind. When was the last time they invented something? Now they want to reinvent. Spare me!
When will these lily-heart Europeans know that regulation is to capitalism what career is to the British Royal family? If you insist that capitalism must be regulated, you can as well adopt command economy. If you insist that the members of the royal family must keep a real job, you can as well call them prime ministers or something.
Darn right, the old Europe must be isolated from the new Europe – else they poison the new Europe with their cynicism.
How could someone in his right mind say that this financial correction means the “end of the great dream of freedom and prosperity?” Shouldn’t that be treason? Shouldn’t Sarkozy be arrested and tried for defying the foundation of Western civilization?
What evidence does anyone need other than this statement from Mr. Sarkozy: "The idea of the all-powerful market which must not be constrained by any rules, by any political intervention, was mad. The idea that markets were always right was mad."
In my opinion, the person who is mad is Sarkozy. Any one who opposes "the logic of short-term financial profit" is crazy. Anyone who barks at legitimate businesses hiding risks "to obtain ever more exorbitant profits" must be out of his mind.
You would be forgiven if you think Comrade Joseph Lenin was the one speaking in France last weekend. "The market economy is a regulated market . . . in the service of all. It is not the law of the jungle; it is not exorbitant profits for a few and sacrifices for all the others. The market economy is competition that lowers prices . . . that benefits all consumers."
What kind of nonsense talk is that?
How will Sarkozy inject morality into financial capitalism? Maybe he is confusing crack with cocaine. You cannot inject crack into the blood stream.
The market is either right or wrong. You cannot have it both ways.
I write this so that you all know where we stand. Do not let the French deceive you. I repeat, do not let Sarkozy confuse you.
Sarkozy is not Thomas Paine. I know Thomas Paine. Thomas Pain was my friend.
Please, Sarah, try and remember as much as you can. You don’t have to rush and read Common Sense or The Age of Reason. Recite what you can. Before those Main Stream Media (MSM) could figure out where you economized the truth, the election will be over and we will be planning our inaugural ball.
Thank you, my pretty pit bull.
Your Big Daddy,
John Sydney McCain
