Arabs Forewarned: Don't Go To The Restroom Too Much!

America is probably very close to openly practicing racial profiling against Arabs and Muslims. With the political and public animus at an all-time high against Arabs and Muslims, the recent phony right-wing indignation against the TSA's pat-downs may finally be what ushers racial profiling.

As I recently noted: the right-wing’s opposition is bogus, politically motivated against Obama, and it is not rooted in any appreciation for individual rights. Their alternative to the pat-downs is not anything that respects individual rights but a far more offensive system which would racially profile Arabs and Muslims and deny them their rights and subject them to undue and unAmerican humiliation.

The right-wing may use this moment to heavily push for racial profiling, which is what they wanted all along. And if Obama is the man he has thus shown himself, he'll roll over. Obama has kept Gitmo open, reversed himself on civilian trails for accused terrorists and signed off and expanded upon Bush's Imperial power claims and has refused to stand for civil liberties whenever the right-wing shouts. The man seems to lack a backbone to truly fight for his principles.

So what for the all-Arab line at the airport. Which, as a consolation, may move faster.

In the meantime, just make sure that if you're 'Arab while flying' you do not piss too much or else you may arouse suspicion:
