A fire at an apartment complex near Seattle has killed three people and left about 50 homeless.

King County fire spokesman Dave Nelson says one building was destroyed and another heavily damaged early Sunday. The cause of the fire is being investigated.

Six people were treated at hospitals. One of them is a girl who jumped from her window.
