Anti-Smoking Measures in Europe

European countries with anti-smoking laws that either ban or sharply limit smoking in restaurants and cafes:
Belgium, Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.
Several German states have introduced, or plan to introduce, partial bans on smoking in restaurants and bars. In Switzerland, Ticino became the first Swiss canton to ban smoking in cafes and restaurants.
