An eco-friendly Time icon that combines the past with the future
Welcome to the creations of a modern-day archaeologist whose quest for signs left over by the energy of ancient civilizations in old electronics and computers. This unique fusion of ancient and futuristic art forms reveals a mystical feature.
Take for instance, the futuristic clock, which is the link between the past and the future. It stands at the crossroads of the past and the future and is given a human form with a head, two hands, trunk and two legs. It is made of obsolete computer parts, quartz clocks and LED running lights, and is battery operated from eight to 12 months.
This wall mounted clock is 14” tall, 10” wide and 3” deep, as it were. Its two hands tick in opposite directions, thereby creating a reflection of time. It bears a symbol of the Atomic Age and resembles an icon from the ancient civilizations, besides also depicting an overall over-futuristic out of this world creature, combining attractiveness and compactness of design beautifully.
This icon is assembled using original electronic parts taken from two old computers, rendering it one of the artist’s most impressive creations using electronics and computers. Adding dynamism to the human form of computers and electronics is the red and green pattern of lights, used across the entire art form.
Originally, it was titled, Master of the Time Rings, it was later renamed Lord of the Time Rings in the 1990s. This fantastic icon has made a great impact on the future development of this art form in the artist’s life.
Since these art works are made out of obsolete computers and electronics, they require a large quantity of raw material to create them. However, procuring the right quantity of raw material is the work of the artist’s sixth sense. This is his artistic vision.
