Amrita Rao & Iqbal star to act in Shyam Benegal's 'Mahadeva'
Shyam Benegal has beautifully raised Indian issues through his several films like Ankur, Manthan and Bhumika. Winner of many Filmfare Awards, Cannes Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival award, surely no one can stand with one of the most acclaimed Indian film director.

As for now the 72-year-old who originally hails from Bengal is considering on a new project that is titled Mahadeva temporarily.

Mahadeva is an unusual romantic comedy and is set in rural India. Film's main star-cast will be Shreyas Talpade of Iqbal fame and Amrita Rao, for which shooting will begin in this September.
This film deals with the letter writers in village post offices and their importance in the rural scenario and is being produced by Chetan Motiwalla
