Amitabh Bachchan's makeup man, Deepak Sawant set a new record when he ventured into the making of his career's first Bhojpuri film, Ganga. Not only the film was a great hit but also helped Megastar Amitabh Bachchan to set his foots in the Bhojpuri cinema.

And now once more Deepak Sawant is ready with Bhojpuri as well as Hindi version of Gangotri, the sequel of Ganga. Earlier there was a buzz that Sawant dubbed the film in Hindi after looking at the final edit. But now it has been confirmed that he actually shot the entire film in Bhojpuri as well as Hindi and now he is ready with both the versions.
The two versions of Gangotri has the same star cast which are Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Manoj Tiwari, Bhumika Chawla, Aruna Irani and Kunal Singh. It is likely to be released on the same date in October. The new version will take the older one ahead and one can say 'Gangotri starts where Ganga ends'.
Interestingly Big B's son, Abhishek Bachchan who is not playing any role in the film art has been promoting the trailers to introduce film's characters in the promos, which are airing on television.
Sawant Ganga was awarded three awards and was highly cherished by the Bhojpuri filmgoers for Ganga. Sawant wants his film to reach all types of audiences and that also is the reason he is releasing the Gangotri in both languages at the same time.
