The Polizario’s defense minister brother and the Secretary General of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah said from Madrid that Spain has to put pressure on Algeria in the case of Aminatou Haidar.
In an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, he said that "Spain must understand that Aminatou Haidar is being manipulated by the Algerian secret services. They want to make her a martyr. The Spanish government must put pressure on Algeria to put an end to this,"
In the same interview with El Mundo, he added that Aminatou Haidar’s case is a part of a "strategic and diabolical plan to impede negotiations on the autonomy of the Sahara. I am convinced that this is a carefully crafted conspiracy.”
He also said "What a curious coincidence that all this takes place just when negotiations would resume. It is clear that they want to embarrass the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General, Christopher Ross,"
In the same interview with El Mundo, he concluded that Morocco’s autonomy proposal is a just and it’s the only reasonable solution that will allow us to move forward for a win-win situation.
