Aminatou Haidar’s case is just another attempt by Algeria to divert the negotiation process over the Moroccan Sahara. This separatist, who has claimed that she has been on a hunger strike since November 16th, the Spanish press said on Saturday that she used the bathroom twice which proves that she’s been eating and all this hunger strike thing is just a lie. I guess that explains why she’s been in a good health even with one month hunger strike.
Aminatou Haidar, who is originally a berber from Aqqa and not even a Sahrawi as many people may think, has renounced the Moroccan nationality and passport and refused the Spanish citizenship that will allow her to enter Morocco as a Spanish citizen proving that she is not a human rights activist but a tool used by Algeria to invent all kinds of problems to divert the attention of the international opinion.
