When a filmmaker turns into a changemaker
After having played the much conventional roles of a lover boy, obedient son, frustrated businessman, husband and so on, Abhishek Bachchan is now stepping into the more unconventional field of roles. Junior B now plans to play a sportsman and has also started working on a story for himself, with a little help.
With audiences turning sports freak and movies like 'Lagaan', 'Iqbal' and 'Chak De India' having generated good responses at home and overseas, it seems that Abhishek Bachchan too is harbouring the ambition of starring in a sports flick. Following the SRK league who had donned sporty roles earlier in films like 'Chamatkaar' (cricket coach) 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' (football player) and the latest 'Chak De India' (hockey coach), AB baby now is ready to portray the role of a soccer player as well.
Abhishek has kept his die-hard crazy spirit for football in mind while opting for the sporty role. Reportedly, he will portray the role of an Indian footballer who is signed by an English Premier League club, probably Abhishek's favourite Chelsea, and the story will revolve around his fight to keep his place in the team.
Well let us wait and watch whether Abhi's desired role scores a goal for him at the box office or not!
