Aarushi: The celebrity???

LIFESTYLE. .

AArushi!!!! The most famous name in the recent days! Wouldn't add the adjective 'celebrated' as I am not sure whether she deserves to be called so or not! Most of us have heard about people gaining fame after death! But death itself being the tool of fame for someone is undoubtedly the rarest of rare case. Well, Aarushi is surely the most noted example of such a case.

The murder mystery of AArushi and the servant Hemraj seems no less than a Bollywood movie with all the masala of a thriller and suspense! The flat of Jalvayu vihar, a colony in Noida, Delhi, became the most sought after place for the media persons as well as the common public in the past few days. Everyone looked at the case from the perspective of a detective! Everyone wanted to solve the case according to his or her theory! Imagine, the CBI chief got different suggestions for solving the case from the general public!

But, is this correct??? Are we not becoming selfish?? For simply satisfying our grudge for something thrilling in our lives, are we not making this murder case a simple tool? Are we really concerned about AArushi?? Or are we just concerned about her death?? Isn't this ironic??? How many of us are actually bothered by the brutal death of a 14-year-old girl?? How many of us actually think about the tragedy that has befallen AArushi's parents?? Well, factly speaking, none of us! All of us are just looking at it as the biggest murder mystery of the year that needs to be solved so that we can look back at the year and term it as an exciting year of our lives! Once, the case gets moved away from the TV channels, AArushi will also vanish from our minds and memories forever!

Secondly, the other thing about the case that disturbs me is the scarce amount of attention being paid to the death of Hemraj. Everyone is bothered about AArushi, processions are being carried out to get AArushi some insaaf! But what about Hemraj??? Wasn't he murdered brutally? Hasn't he left a family behind?? Isn't his death, a tragedy?? But, I guess no?? Not for the media persons and not at all for the general public! But why is it so?? Just because he was from a lower class of the society, doesnt' his death also deserve some respect???
