A holy profession called doctors
It is inhuman to say the least. Several precious and innocent lives have been lost in Rajasthan due to the strike resorted to by the doctors in the entire length and breadth of the state.

Who will be held responsible for these loss of lives. The death due to the lack of attention by the doctors have already crossed 30 and is still counting.
It is not at all expected from a community which takes Hippocratic Oath, believed to have written by the father of western medicine Hippocrates, to practice medicine ethically.
The strike began on Saturday evening, after doctors at the MDM Hospital in Jodhpur were attacked by the relatives of a patient. Doctors struck back, targeting the patient's family, and damaging hospital property. The police was summoned and in the lathi-charge that followed, a group of six doctors were injured.
Now the doctors in both the government as well as the private hospitals are up in arms against the police and the administration. They are demanding action against senior police and administration officials. Resident doctors and nurses all over the state say they support their colleagues' decision to refuse to attend to patients. Senior resident doctors who had earlier pulled out have now gone back on strike.
It is true that the doctors also want some protection and the patients and their relatives in a moment of rage should not act against the doctors as they will always try to save their patients. I am sure, no doctor will do anything knowingly to damage the patients.
But all said and done, the doctors' profession is not a Lala's Dookan (a shop run by a rich man). It is a holy profession. The doctors should not resort to such cheap gimmicks as strike, that too mass strike. It is against humanity and against the ethics.
Swear by the Hippocratic Oath. Don't become hypocrats.
