(Who’s to bell the cat if religion is of serious concern?)
Ma-Mahajnan said something of great significance when once she was sitting in her Mandir for mass education. I took a note, the gist of which is: “Spirituality counts truly on realization; religion has casual concern.”
It has been reported in the ‘USA Today’ earlier that the concept of religion is gradually getting changed among the young generation of America. Most of them are not at all interested in attending church on Sundays and seem to be least inclined to religion..
In the same way in different countries in the West behave the young people. Educated boys and girls in India, too, are becoming indifferent about religion. Possibly the young generation do not find food for thought in religion. The idea of ‘spiritual science’ (it may sound something new.) if doesn’t propel around the world, religion will be of serious concern.
This article will examine the issue of religion and analyze what can be done to increase interest in young people. The study of Sanatana Dharma along with other religions of the world is ever inspiring. We should count on Christianity, Islam, Hiduism, Buddhism and a few others. This is the high time to discover the facts and figures of every religion that would help us growing power of reasoning and think deeply about “One world; one religion” amid fundamentalism.
In this context will the young Indians take the lead and accept others individually as their counterpart? Evidently, young Americans will gladly participate to develop Indo-US relation in the perspective of spiritual science. We are likely to be ambitious since President Barack Husain Obama, the Nobel Laureate in Peace in 2009, thinks much about world peace.
Earlier, we had great thinkers and spiritualists like Rishi Aurobindo, Swami Vivekananda, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, and a few others in our country. They did much to reform our society. Lately we find among us Ma-Mahajnan, a great spiritual genius. She has contributed at length to help us immeasurably.
However, this brief article may be considered as an outline to draw everybody’s interest in spirituality which would help people developing power of reasoning.
