5 More Suspects In The Bizarre Dubai al-Mabhouh Death
I had wondered what had happened to the whole Mossad/Mahmoud al-Mabhouh's assassination circus scandal. After all the initial commotion and the bizarre details surrounding Mabhouh's death, it quickly faded into yesterday's news, until now. Apparently, there are five new suspects to add to the 27 other suspects alleged to have killed the Hamas terrorist. So, it apparently took 32 people to kill one man? Hmmmmm. And I'm not sure if they ever settled on how he actually did die, since it ranged from poison to electrocution to suffocation and every possible combination of the above.

But of these new suspects two had French passports, two others had Brit passports and one female had an Australian passport. I have to wonder if they are just arbitrarily picking any westerners who just so happened to be visiting Dubai at the time. I do know that some of the 32 had false passports, but did all of them? And I still want to know what a terrorist was doing in a lavish, luxury hotel in Dubai? And are Mossad that stupid to have made it so obvious, if they indeed were involved? Perhaps, but it all just seems so odd.
Of course, the various countries who had passports forged are infuriated and looking into the matter.
Australia said Friday it was investigating reports that a fifth Australian passport had been linked to the January killing of a Hamas chief in Dubai.Four allegedly forged Australian passports have already been connected to the Cold War-style assassination Mabhouh, of which Israel's Mossad spy agency is suspected of involvement.
The foreign affairs department said it had received reports a fifth Australian document had been implicated in the hit at a luxury Dubai hotel.
"(The department) is aware of reports that officials in the UAE have identified five new suspects in connection with the Dubai murder of senior Hamas figure Mahmud al-Mabhuh," a spokeswoman told AFP.
"The reports state these suspects were carrying Australian, British and French passports. We are working to establish the accuracy of these reports."
If proven, the spokeswoman said the development would be of "gravest concern."
"The government condemns in the strongest possible terms the abuse of Australian passports," she said, adding that Australian authorities were in "close contact" with investigating officials in Dubai.
Of course it wasn't just Mossad agents in the guise of westerners involved in the movie-like plot, two Palestinians were also said to have participated and were extradited shortly after they were apprehended in Jordan.
The whole thing is just too bizarre, and unbelievable. But what I find most ridiculous is the fact that anyone cares, other than other extremist militants, what happened to a terrorist. Would anyone really try and delve into and prosecute anyone who managed to kill Osama Bin Laden, or any other terrorist thug? What's the big deal with Mabhouh. Who knows if we will ever know the real truth as to what happened to the man, but I am still inclined to believe that he just died of cancer, as the Maan website first wrote about. Or was dying of cancer and set himself up to be killed, so he could be a martyr. Bu all I say is good riddance, there's one less militant, terrorist in the world.
