The end of “OSAMA”...
I found a couple of questions today on Yahoo Answers, asking whether it is true that the world will end on the 21st of December, 2012… People were seriously worried about it, and then came the sarcastic ones who gave funny answers ridiculing the whole issue, and also came the religious people who gave proof from the bible that no one can predict such a thing, and that there are lots of events that are yet to happen before the end of days, which will probably need more than the two years left for our ultimatum in December, 2012…
I found such questions funny, but then again, I couldn't help but wonder if people are this "simple"?!! They would actually believe that someone is capable of predicting something like this, and give an exact date!
It is sad that some of those who believed in this superstition, like lots of other people, will probably die of accidents, natural causes, murders, or whatever reason before the big date… Would it matter then? Would anything in this world matter then?
I don't want to sound philosophical now, but I have always wondered, why would people get attached to life this much? I mean, I live a happy and stable life… I am pretty satisfied with my status in this life, Satisfied with my work, studies, family, money issues… but at the same time, I don't see why it is so important to stay on this Earth. What is it that is so rewarding over here that we don't want to leave? Is it attachment to this phase? Or fear of the next one?
I don't know, I DO however know that life most probably won't end on that day, do you know why? Because America still hasn't managed to solve everybody's problems, yet, LOL, LOL…
